Hellfire live set + Fifth Era dj set

THE ARRIVAL !

myslelf and lurker left for the party the day before. id been to berlin before so we decided to hit a few historical places and hit a few bars around the east and borders whilst obviously stopping every ten minutes for a bratwurst ........
(love them german sausages) soon enough evening arrived after having a few more drinks we met up with peter (bowman)and decided to get drunk on the streets of berlin whilst having a good old chat.we then hit the hotel the next morning got some sleep. once we got up we got plenty of beer and yagermeister for the journey to ballenstedt. soon enough right on time the guys from the party came to to pick us up. there was a little language barrier thing going on but they could'nt of done any more for us , they treated us really well and the hotel they got us was fit for a king ..really nice village too with plenty of history. once we had some food we met an old friend of ours from frankfurt that travelled with her partner to give us some support and it was nice to catch up.

THE PARTY ! / F.E set

we arrived at the party around midnight once inside and drinks in hand we went into the hardcore room to put our equipment and records aside and machine man was on on the decks spinning some old koztaak and pcp trax with some other stuff .the room had a really bright strobe which made it hard to see what was going on at times but it was a good vibe in there. we saw a few poeple wearing the Fifth Era t shirts which was cool too, all of a sudden it was time and lurker was getting ready to play his set the room was filling up a bit more then BANG the white mover track came on and i knew it was on ! the set progressed into some exlusive dub plates from F.E by the the crowds reaction the set went down well. there was some issues with the dj mixer..(as always) .. crossfader was knackered ..... tecknical issues aside it all went well and the sound system was really loud so another good bonus !

Hellfire Live Set

i was on after lurker so i got my laptop ready plugged in my akai control surface and got ready to start my live set. i started off with an old verision of happy pils and arranged the kick drums and snare patterns live as an intro style tune once i teased the crowd a bit i dropped a The Blood Spilt...and then into a modified version of Konsumed with Hatred . (which is a good stomper) most tracks i played had been altered either beforehand or on the night so parts where different to the vinyl release. i also had the standard filters etc set up with the control surface. i then went on to play most track from hellfire 1 2 3 plus a good few Unreleased tracks. the crowd seem to really like it and knew most of the released music so it was a good sign things where going down well .. the power of the sound system was so loud behind the dj stand it was slamming my stomach and i needed to piss about half way through my set due to the power of vibrations noooooooo hahaha

the next day

the next morning myself and lurker went on a bit of walk round lokal village went to the old abandoned rubber factory to get some video clips and then to the old station(ballenstedt ost).to get some pics later that day we met up with our friends from frankfurt and the party organisers and went out to the lokal celebrations which was an old pagan ritual. Easter Fire,which was nice..it was good to take part in there clebrations and getting to see the lokal museums and the next town was cool all in all it was a really good trip the guys drove us everywhere and on the final day back to berlin airport which made everthing easier
